Woofipedia

AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB – Website Design, 2010

In 2010, I was hired at the AKC into a group with the mission of recreating the existing New Puppy Handbook into a website for the general population. I advocated for a parallel brand that could do this while avoiding conflict with the dog fancy, the established audience. I also came up with the name. The original Woofipedia (2010) was the result. I was given the funnels and content requirements. I designed the brand look, fonts, colors, UX, layout and photo curation.

It was redesigned and relaunched in 2013, aimed at tween and teen demographic. I was a member of the group that lead the project.
